2yrs ago, we both cried for the life-changing event that may alter the r'ship completely. I didnt send him off, we were too scare to do that and fortunately I didnt cos that morning, I was crying non-stop, its heart-breaking.. Then I remember the day he first came home from Tekong, he was in his army uniform with the big bulky greenish bag, botak and skin-fried. Subsequently came the field camp, oversea training, overnight duties.. I bet I have never long for the wkends more than I did these 2yrs. I dread seeing him sitting on the floor, pulling his boots together, preparing to book in again on every Sunday night.

He was in recce, definately not the easiest. People who's in easier units and keeps complaining, they should be shot-dead. He went through hell, I can feel it, now he's out of it, I'm proud of him. I believe he had learnt alot throughout this road of experence. He endured and embraced, thats the spirit and he deserves a pat on his back. ;)

I'm already feeling the tears welled up while I write this. Those who have went through this should understand.. It really feels like he's been return to my side finally. Our r'ship definately moved a shift higher, we've been through a big obstacle and that is something that we can both celebrate.

I will miss, missing him so so much

I will miss, our special wkends

BUT nothing beats being NOW.

He had better get use to civilian life, having to juggle work and study AND ME now.

As for me, I'm gonna get use to our poor little earnings to finance for decent datings.

I wont ask for more, but definately wont seek for less.

My freedom is cut tremendously with his 'returns'.

Less clubbing for sure, he hates it..

Still, I DONT MIND IT.

I foresee him spotting this look soon. He wanted long long hair, long long side-burns, long long beard- everything long long.. hahaha..

And we both aim to be thinner- this will be the hardest.
